I Rule!

“Jinx at Goth Girls' Detective Club will just riff on whatever catches her fancy (beards, Ron Perlman, and being David Bowie in Labyrinth) or do an in-depth movie review of a movie I had no idea exists. My Netflix queue grows exponentially just by virtue of her being in my Google Reader. She also seems like an extremely nice person with extremely red hair. And she has a stuffed piranha. You gotta give it up for girlfriend.’’ Tim Grant, Post-Mortem Depression

''Jinx has to be one of the most unique people I've had the pleasure of "meeting" over the Internet and a trip to her blog always proves to be filled with laughs, sea monsters, lots of alcohol, and adorable kittens. If that's not a recommendation to get you to mosey on over to her place, then I don't what is.'' Joe Monster, From Beyond Depraved

''I think [her] norks are awesome. ;)'' Dr. Blood, Dr. Blood's Video Vault

'let me advise any readers who have somehow not yet found their way to [Goth Girls' Detective Club], or remind those who just haven't stopped by there recently, that it really is the most consistently inspiring, surprising, eclectic, evocative and enjoyable horror blog I know.Speaking as someone who was there virtually from the start, it's terrific to see the word getting around. The world of horror blogs is full of great things: the first of these is Goth Girls' Detective Club.' Matthew Coniam, Carfax Abbey

'Three great things have come out of Newcastle: Newcastle Brown Ale (a.k.a. Newkie Brahn), Jimmy Nail (Oz in ‘Auf Wiedersehen, Pet’) and Jinx, one of the sassiest no-bullshit bloggers (of either sex) you’re ever likely to encounter. Her profile reads “flame haired tattooed love goddess”. What’s not to like?' Neil Fulwood, The Agitation of the Mind
